|Training objectives for PhD students
The ED SVS students who are enrolled in first year of doctorate from the year 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 have to follow a minimum of 100 hours of complementary training during their thesis.
This rule does not apply to the salaried doctoral students (medical doctors in particular) and can be modulated for doctoral students doing their thesis within the framework of a cotutelle or a CIFRE partnership.
The complementary training is composed of a “transversal part”, which covers the training courses offered to all PhD students at the University of Bordeaux by the College of Doctoral Studies, and a “disciplinary part ” corresponding to the training organized at the level of the Doctoral School by the research federations.
The 100 hours of training must include a minimum of 25 hours of transversal training, and a minimum of 25 hours of disciplinary training.
*Please send an email explaining the content of the training/courses to email@example.com before attending.
